Calling goes better when you have a clean note sheet. Use this thread to prepare, not to share private details.

Quick take
  • Tax year, filing method, accepted or mailed date.
  • WMR wording, transcript codes, and letter numbers.
  • Questions you need answered in order.
  • Dates and names from prior calls.
  • A callback-safe phone number, kept private and not posted.

How to use this thread
  • After a call, post only the non-private result: what department handled it, whether a letter is coming, whether you were told to wait, and any general timeline.
