Under review messages: what details help other members compare

Under review can mean several things: income matching, credit review, identity verification, a notice, or normal extra processing.

When asking for help, include:
  • WMR wording exactly, without private details
  • Any tax topic or reference code
  • Transcript code list
  • Letter or notice number, if received
  • Whether you called or verified

If the IRS sends a letter, follow the instructions and deadlines in the letter.
