Direct deposit date threads get messy unless everyone separates IRS date, funding date, and bank posting date.
Quick take
- DDD means the refund date shown by IRS or transcript, not always the moment funds are visible.
- Banks, prepaid cards, payment apps, and refund-transfer products can post on different timelines.
- A fee-paid-from-refund product may add another bank layer before your own bank receives funds.
- If the IRS says mailed check, this belongs in the paper check section of this forum.
How to use this thread
- Use this format: 846 date or WMR sent date / bank or card type / fees taken from refund yes or no / pending visible yes or no / posted date and time zone.
- Do not post account numbers, routing numbers, card screenshots, or exact deposit identifiers.
