RefundHub works best when repeat questions are easy to find. This playbook shows members how to search before posting.

Highlights
  • Search exact transcript codes such as 570 971, 846, 898, or cycle code.
  • Search letter numbers like CP05, CP12, 5071C, 4883C, or 5747C.
  • Search exact WMR wording, but remove private numbers and exact refund amounts.
  • Use forum lanes when search results are too broad: WMR, transcripts, letters, deposits, state refunds, or amended returns.

How to use this
  • Start with the most specific phrase: code plus issue, letter plus deadline, or bank plus DDD.
  • If you post a new thread, use the phrase you searched in the title.
  • Reply to useful guide threads with missing keywords so future members can find them.
