Use this before uploading any transcript or notice screenshot.

Quick take
  • Hide SSN, ITIN, EIN, names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses.
  • Hide DLN, tracking numbers, barcodes, QR codes, letter control numbers, and account identifiers.
  • Hide exact dollar amounts unless a rounded or category description is enough.
  • Crop to only the line or message being discussed.

How to use this thread
  • If you cannot safely redact a screenshot, type the codes and dates instead. A typed summary is usually enough for community pattern matching.
